Conference FAQs and Registration
Please read these FAQs before clicking on the on-line registration links below:
Q1: If my school is paying for my registration by check, how do I register on the on-line registration website?
Ans: Choose the Pay by Check option in each category. Complete the entire process and copy the last page which has all your information and transaction number on it. Submit to your school for payment. MAKE SURE YOUR SCHOOL MAKES THE CHECK TO ACTEVA AND INCLUDES YOUR TRANSCACTION NUMBER ON THE CHECK. This information should be sent to the San Francisco address provided on your confirmation webpage. Please do not bring the check to the conference.
Q2: What if my check or my school’s check does not reach Acteva before the Early Registration deadline or before the conference starts?
Ans: Please send the check to Acteva as quickly as possible. Bring your copy of your Confirmation Email or a copy of your completed registration form (from the Acteva website) with the transaction number on it to the conference in order for us to check you in at the conference.
Q3: Is the Award’s Banquet included if I attend on Friday?
Ans: Yes, your fees for Friday include the banquet. There is no discount if you are unable to attend the banquet.
Q4: Is membership to TMTA and my local affiliate included in the registration fee?
Ans: Yes, every regular registrant receives a one-year membership to TMTA with their registration fee, as well as a membership to a local affiliate of your choice. Speakers who are registering for the conference have the option of joining one or two affiliates as well.
Q5: What do all those letters (eg. TMATYC) for the local affiliates’ listing mean?
Ans: Go to this website to see which region of the state the local affiliate acronyms represent: http://www.tmta.info/affiliates2007_2008.pdf.
Q6: When will I get a copy of the program?
Ans: All current members of TMTA and local affiliates are sent a copy of the program in the mail. It will also be posted on the TMTA website at: http://www.tmta.info/ Please bring your copy of the program to the conference. Updates to the program will be available when you check in at the conference.
